First thing in the morning, I drink a lot of water. I love to add ginger & lemon shots to my water to give my digestive system a good kick start for the day. Ideally, I would suggest to only drink water untill you have a bowel movement.
I usually like to go for a morning run or workout at the gym. Followed by a big plate of fruits. Melons are the most amazing fruits for breakfast as they are so easy to digest due to their high water content.
Since I am such a big fruit lover, most of the times I have fruits for lunch as well. I use any fruit like Pineapple, Mangos, Berries, Pears, Bananas or any other fruit that is in season. I really caaaaaaan’t wait for summer and all the yummy summer fruits.
Dates, Dates, Dates!!! 🙂 I am the biggest fan of Dates. Truly a superfood. Medjoul dates are by far my favorite ones as they are soooo soft and their caramel taste makes them the yummiest sweets ever.
I often hear people saying they are afraid of gaining weight by eating to many dates due to their high sugar content. I was a bit worried myself but there really is no reason to be worried as they don’t contain any fat and have absolutely no sodium or cholesterol. So, there is no reason not to love them.

If I did not have a green smoothie during the day I like to have a big, colorful salad for dinner. One of my all time favorite combination is baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumber and roasted squash or roasted sweet-potato, topped with lemon juice and black pepper. It sounds quite simple but sometimes the simpler, the better. 🙂
