THE KEY TO HAPPINESS

Hi Lovelies,

hope you are all doing great! 🙂 Many of you have asked me how much i weight. I don’t weight myself as I think a  number on a scale is not a good way of measuring and comparing ourselves to others. A lot of people think reaching a certain number on the scale will make them happier but that is not true. Weight has nothing to do with happiness. HEALTH is all that matters. When you feel super healthy, fit and vibrant from the inside out you will automatically be happy for no reason.

My tips for a happy life

  1. Focus on making other people happy. We tend to always think about ways to become happier, but I think it is so much healthier to think about  MAKING OTHER PEOPLE HAPPY instead.
  2. Don’t only focus on reaching your goals. Enjoy the ride! Everyone has different goals in life and thinks reaching them is what is going to make them happy. However, have you ever seen anyone that was happier once he/she achieved something they wanted for a long time? Maybe, but that feeling of success doesn’t last very long and after a few weeks or even days people have new goals and want even more. Very rarely that someone will say “great i got what i wanted, now that’s enough, i’m happy for the rest of my life”. Enjoy the journey and start being happy today, now, with whatever you’ve got.
  3. Don’t compare yourself to others. Isn’t it almost impossible these days where our society constantly predicts us to compare ourselves to others to be satisfied with what we’ve got? Social media plays a huge role in this as it is a platform for non stop comparison. I love social media, however, I think it’s crucial to understand that it should be used to get inspired by others, to connect with other likeminded people and to discover new places, but NOT to constantly compare yourself to other people. You don’t know what they have been going through and what their background is. Be sure everyone has ups and downs and is not living that picture perfect Instagram life.
  4. Love yourself the way you are. Love yourself the way you are, love your body everyday unconditionally, treat your body and your mind well, take care of yourself and inspire other people to do the same, but never beat yourself up by comparing yourself to others. You are so much more than that and you deserve to be happy with who you are.

I hope you guys find these tips helpful and can relate to any of it. I really love to help and hear your stories. It is so important to support each other instead of comparing ourselves to others. Please don’t focus on reaching a certain weight,  focus on becoming the fittest, healthiest and happiest version of yourself and FOCUS ON MAKING OTHER PEOPLE HAPPY. There is so much more in life than your weight.

Have a lovely day everyone! 🙂

xx Caroline

Good afternoon from Paris Caroline!

I’ve started living a vegan lifestyle for 3 months with a big pleasure and wonderful thoughts but when I noticed that I quickly lost weight, I don’t know why it’s just frustrating. I’m pretty convinced that it’s because I don’t believe yet in this new lifestyle as it’s a huge change compared to our “general” lifestyle : milk, bread, meat etc. Consequently, I’m afraid to continue my new routine but when I restart my own lifestyle I want to come back again into vegan lifestyle. I’m always making sure that I eat enough but it still seems so superficial and fragile, do you get my point? Besides, noone here except me having a vegan lifestyle so I feel lonely and overthinking about that vegan lifestyle. To conclude, my thought is destabilized and I can’t focus and build correctly my new way of living. Why I don’t try to talk about it to my family or friends? Everyone has a belief and lifestyle is a hard topic so I just avoid it.

Did you have the same problems at the beginning? What was your hardest experience about vegan lifestyle? How did you fight for it? What are the things that you dislike about vegan lifestyle? Come on, I’m pretty sure you can find one idea about it lol. Thanks for reading and considering this Caroline.

Waiting for your sweet answer!

    Hi Audrey,
Im not sure i understand your question:-)? Are you still vegan? What did you eat when you went vegan? I need a bit more detail otherwise i can’t explain why you lost a lot of weight or why you feel week.

I’m still vegan but as I’m not convinced yet I still drink milk for breakfast.
      I eat many fruits :
Morning : milk + small bread + 2 banana + apple or orange
      Lunch : rice/pasta with vegetables
Snack : banana + other fruits
      Dinner : like lunch

        Hi Audrey,
you could substitute milk with almond milk, soy milk or oat milk. Almond milk tastes really good and is much healthier than cow milk. :-)) You can also switch to brown rice pasta instead of regular wheat pasta. Brown rice penne are super yummy and much easier to digest than regular pasta.
Hope that helps:-)!! Have a lovely day!

    Hi Leticia,
thank you!!:-) Coffee is not the worst 🙂 but how about you try green smoothies instead? Spinach, parsley & pineapple is a great and easy recipe which tastes amazing. You can have that with a larger fruit platter and im sure you will have just as much energy as with drinking coffee. Coffee is very dehydrating and also make is difficult for the body to absorb protein thats why it’s good to find a healthier alternative. 🙂 Green tea would also be a good alternative. 🙂
    Hope that helps!

What workout do you do all days to have abs ?

Caroline Deisler December 10, 2016 Reply

I do a mix of running, spinning and boxing. Boxing is really great to tone the whole body and i usually finish the boxing class with some TRX exercises. There is also a video on my Youtube Channel (Caroline’s Choice) where i show my fav ab exercises.
    Hope that helps! 🙂
