Hiii Guys :-)))

Happy New Year! 🙂 Let´s bring this blog back to life😍 I have changed the layout a little too, hope you guys like it.❤️ Not sure why I waited that long but since it´s the 1st of January I thought it would be a good time to share my first blog post of the year.

New Year’s resolutions are a biiiig thing right? Somehow we have that assumption that a new year, new week, or simply a new day will help us to change our habits and to hopefully be more disciplined. I don’t think we ever need to wait for a specific date to make change happen, however, I Iove to take this as a chance to write down goals for the new year as I find it helps me to stay focused and to know where I want to be in a years time.

If your new year’s resolution is to eat healthier, lose weight or workout more, I strongly suggest you focus on exercise and healthy eating as a lifelong lifestyle change, not a quick diet. You want to feel your best every single day which ultimately helps you to do your best in all other areas in life. Change your habits day by day, allow little fallbacks and don’t pressure yourself with unrealistic goals. That will only leave you upset and won’t motivate you at all. Always remind yourself you are not defined by how you look, you are defined by who you are as a person, your inner balance, self-love, gratitude, happiness and a well-functioning intuition that helps you to make the right decision in life.

Food, fitness and wellness is a big part of my life but I don’t want it to control my life in any way. Ever since I stopped modelling, turned plant-based and went to Uni I realized how much time I had wasted thinking about food, what to eat next, what to avoid,  how to be my skinniest etc. All that was just to please others (agencies, clients..) but not for myself. Eating the way I eat now taught me so much about self-love and listening to your body. I have been so much more productive ever since I stopped obsessing about food, calories and weight and feel a million times better eating a plant-based whole foods diet where I can always eat as much as I like.

I usually have the longest to do list, too many ideas and easily lose track. Take your time, concentrate on one thing at a time, do little steps each day and start with what feels the easiest. You will get more and more confident after seeing the first little improvements. If you need some inspirations for 2019 resolutions that enhance your wellbeing, here are my top 5 things to focus on. 🙂

  1. Be kind to yourself & take a break whenever you need to.

  2. Trust your inner voice and make your own decisions.

  3. Get more sleep.

  4. Drinking green smoothies daily.

  5. Surround yourself with positive people, don’t be afraid to let go of negative people who don’t bring out the best in you.

Hope you found this post helpful. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below. Happy new year everyone! Let´s make the most of 2019 🙂

xx Caroline
