I love Banana Ice cream!! It tastes amazing and is so easy to make.
You only need frozen bananas and a Blender or a Food Processor.
The easiest Is if you buy lots of bananas, let them ripen for a few days and then freeze them overnight. Freezing ripe bananas will make your ice cream a lot sweeter.
I usually buy around 30 bananas and wait around a week till they are spotty. It’s always great to have them in the freezer in case you want to make a smoothie and don’t have fresh fruit available or in case you want to make a last minute desert. 🙂
INGREDIENTS (serves 2)
5-7 frozen bananas
- Peel your ripe bananas and freeze them in a zip bag at least for a few hours.
- Put the bananas in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Its good to start blending on lower speed and then go a bit faster once it is starting to look creamy.
This recipe is perfect for a hot summer day and can easily replace your breakfast smoothie or lunch :-). I love to make this for my family as well as everyone loves it and you don’t need to mention that it is only made of frozen bananas. 🙂
Sprinkle some coconut sugar on top if you prefer it extra sweet.
